Swiss Ice Hockey has announced the expanded squad for the U18 national team, which will compete in the U18 World Championships in Landshut and Kaufbeuren (Germany) from 23 April to 1 May.
The technical staff, consisting of head coach Marcel Jenni and his assistants Krister Cantoni and Steve Hirschi, has summoned among others two bianconeri, defender Ryan Mazzola and forward Alessandro Lurati, both born in 2004.
The Swiss selection will meet on 5 April at the OYM in Cham for a first week of training at the end of which they will face the German peers in two rounds.
The second phase of preparation will also take place in Cham from 12 to 16 April before the departure on 18 April to Kaufbeuren in Bavaria, the venue for the young Swiss team's group matches against Finland, Sweden and Latvia.
The final selection of the 25 players entered for the World Championships will be announced on 22 April.
